Privacy Policy

Reelign ("the app") is operated by Shields Digital LLC ("we", "us"). This policy describes what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

Account. You sign in with Apple. We receive an anonymous Apple user identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your name. We use this solely to keep your library attached to your account.

Your saved reels. When you share a reel to Reelign, we store the link you shared and public metadata about it (title, creator handle, thumbnail) so your library works across reinstalls. We do not store your Instagram or TikTok password. Connections happen through those platforms' own login pages, and session credentials stay on your device.

Playback caches. Videos you save are cached on your device only, so they play instantly and work offline. Caches never leave your phone and are deleted when you sign out or delete your account.

Diagnostics. Basic, non-identifying failure logs (for example, "a reel failed to load") used to keep playback reliable. No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps.

What we never do

Subscriptions

Reelign Premium purchases are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status (active or not) from Apple to unlock features. We never see your payment details.

Data retention and deletion

Delete your account any time in the app (Profile, then Delete Account). This permanently removes your account, saved reel records, and playlists from our servers, and clears local caches. Sign out clears the device session and local caches without deleting server data.

Third-party content

Reels remain the property of their creators and the platforms they were posted on. Reelign displays source attribution and links back to the original post.

Children

Reelign is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
